TRICARE is health care insurance which is offered to members of the military of the United States. Drug abuse inside the military is a lot more common than one would imagine, and the necessity to offer rehab to these individuals is a priority. TRICARE covers many different rehab services to address alcohol and drug dependence including detox services, in addition to rehabilitation in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient settings. If an inpatient program is the favored treatment option, TRICARE will cover a 3 week period or one inpatient stay in that center per benefit period which is every 12 months.
