Medicare is a kind of health care insurance designed by the government for older persons, and also people with certain disabilities and illnesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only real catch is, the individual will have to acquire treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start rehabilitation, they will also have to see their doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the physician will generally approve what sort of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual should be in a hospital because of their problem, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
