Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the U.S. government for older persons, along with people who have certain disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The one exception is, the individual must obtain treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence treatment, they will also have to see their medical doctor who must state that treatment services are medically essential, and the physician will typically approve what sort of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual has to be in a hospital for his or her issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
