Medicare is a type of medical insurance designed by the federal government for senior citizens, along with people with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one catch is, the individual will have to obtain treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence treatment, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual needs to be hospitalized for problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they will have to self pay.
