Medicare is a type of health care insurance created by the federal government for senior citizens, along with individuals with specific disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only exception is, the person will need to obtain treatment coming from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they will also have to see their doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual should be in a hospital for problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
