Dual diagnosis rehabs are facilities which provide treatment to handle both addiction and mental health issues at the same time. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment that helps them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so they are better able to handle life circumstances more proficiently if they depart dual diagnosis rehab rather than returning to alcohol and drugs as a possible solution.
