Offering gender-specific rehab services has proven beneficial in circumstances where conventional treatment facilities have not meet expectations, such as coping with situations in a women's life that are distinctive and traumatic. Such concerns may pertain to sexual abuse, physical trauma, mental abuse, eating disorders, one's family and motherhood, or other really serious issues which are particular to women. Studies show that women may also get involved in drug use more readily than men, and so are more vulnerable to sickness due to addiction issues than males as a result.
