Medicare is a form of medical insurance developed by the federal government for seniors, along with people who have specific disabilities and diseases. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only catch is, the person will have to acquire treatment from your alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start treatment, they can also get to see their physician who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual needs to be in a hospital for his or her problem, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
