Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the federal government for seniors, and also those that have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one catch is, the individual will need to receive treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehab, they may also have to visit their physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual has to be hospitalized for their problem, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
