Criminal justice client rehabs are available as a far better option than incarceration or significant fines for many who have been convicted of any type of drug or alcohol related crime. For instance, a person who has been in prison for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs may qualify to get rehabilitation services for his or her problem as an alternative to serving time in jail. The judge may even order that the individual receive rehabilitation, either alone or as well as other sentencing. First-time offenders in particular are often given the ability to go with a criminal justice client rehab as opposed to other sentencing, and it is highly recommended they reap the benefits of it if it's a possibility. The theory behind criminal justice client rehabs is that it is way more efficient and effective to invest time and effort into rehabilitation than enforcement of other consequences. The signs and indicators appear to be quite positive, and criminal justice clients who do take part in rehab have a better potential for remaining out of the system following treatment.
