Being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS may trigger drug use, or dangerous sexual behavior due to drug abuse may have caused the person to contract the sickness. People who have HIV/AIDS, either as a result of their drug use or as a pre-existing condition just before their drug abuse issue, often require rehab services tailored to satisfy their specific needs and challenges. Many of these challenges are physical in nature, because of the fact that drug users with HIV/AIDS almost never care for themselves and take the appropriate medications they need to maintain their own health.
