Medicare is a form of health insurance created by the U.S. government for older folks, along with people with specific disabilities and diseases. If someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one exception is, the person must obtain treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehab, they will also have to see their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve what sort of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual has to be hospitalized for his or her issue, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
