Medicare is a sort of health care insurance designed by the U.S. government for older folks, in addition to individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person will have to receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start treatment, they may also have to visit their doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the doctor will generally approve what sort of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual needs to be in a hospital for their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
