Medicaid is a health care insurance available for many people who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance. Whether a person is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend on their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't presume they don't qualify simply because they earn a good income. For example, individuals who have many dependents may qualify for Medicaid even though they make what can certainly be a fair income. Certain states only cover outpatient treatment services for example while other states cover more extensive rehabilitation such as a residential stay in long-term drug rehab facility.
