Medicare is a type of medical health insurance developed by the government for older folks, in addition to individuals with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the individual must receive treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual should be hospitalized for problem, as well as the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
