TRICARE is medical health insurance that's offered to folks in the armed forces of the United States. Drug and alcohol use within the military is a lot more common than one would assume, and the necessity to provide treatment to these individuals is a vital priority. TRICARE covers many different rehab services to cope with alcohol and drug dependence like detoxification services, along with treatment in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient settings. People who have TRICARE will of course be asked to have a prior approval before taking part in any type of rehabilitation service, which is often arranged using a regional TRICARE liaison. If an inpatient center will be the favored treatment option, TRICARE will cover a 3 week period or one inpatient stay in such a center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are specific limits as to how much time a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30 to 45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which can be very beneficial, as it can help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process. No member of the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are skilled rehabilitation counselors standing by to help today.
