Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the federal government for senior citizens, and also people who have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If someone that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. Before the individual will be allowed to start treatment, they will also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve what type of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be hospitalized for his or her problem, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
