Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the government for older folks, in addition to people with specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only real catch is, the individual will need to receive treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will usually approve what sort of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual should be hospitalized because of their problem, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
