Offering gender-specific rehab services has shown to be worthwhile in circumstances where traditional rehabilitation settings have not meet expectations, such as coping with situations in a women's life that are unique and painful. After this step, counselors help women focus on both general and gender specific concerns who have induced their drug abuse. Women also utilize the beneficial support from other female peers, plus some programs that offer treatment services to women offer client beds for her kids.
