Medicare is a type of medical insurance designed by the U.S. government for older folks, along with people with specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The one catch is, the individual will have to receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence treatment, they may also have to see their doctor who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the doctor will usually approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program in the event that the individual must be in a hospital for his or her issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
