Medicare is a sort of health insurance designed by the U.S. government for seniors, along with those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real exception is, the individual must receive treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve what type of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual needs to be in a hospital because of their issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
