Medicaid is a type of health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government provided insurance. Whether a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they earn an acceptable income. If anyone is involved in drug abuse and needs help, they're able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this treatment. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or another type of health insurance to pay for rehab, they could see if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug and alcohol rehab program that is approved in their state.
