Offering gender-specific treatment services has shown to be worthwhile in situations where conventional rehab facilities have not meet expectations, for example dealing with situations within a women's life which can be distinctive and traumatic. Such difficulties may pertain to sexual abuse, physical trauma, psychological abuse, eating disorders, one's family members and being a mother, or other really serious issues which are particular to women.
