Medicaid is a type of health insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance coverage. Whether or not an individual qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only determined by income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they make a fair income.
