Medicare is a form of health care insurance developed by the U.S. government for older folks, along with people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the individual must obtain treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they can also get to see their physician who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual needs to be hospitalized for problem, and also the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
