Dual diagnosis rehabs are centers which provide rehab to address both mental health and addiction concerns simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment which helps them develop more effective coping mechanisms so that they are able to better handle life situations better once they depart dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to returning to drugs and alcohol as a possible option.
