Medicare is a type of health care insurance designed by the federal government for seniors, and also those that have certain disabilities and illnesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only exception is, the individual will have to acquire treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence treatment, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, as well as the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
