Medicare is a sort of health insurance developed by the U.S. government for seniors, in addition to those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the person will need to acquire treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they will also have to see their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will usually approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual should be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
