Medicare is a type of health insurance developed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, along with people who have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The one exception is, the individual must obtain treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence treatment, they will also have to see their primary care physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what sort of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual should be hospitalized because of their issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
