Medicare is a form of medical health insurance created by the U.S. government for senior citizens, along with those that have certain disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only exception is, the person will need to receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehab, they may also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual has to be hospitalized because of their issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
