Medicaid is a medical health insurance available for those who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance. Whether an individual is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they make a fair income. If a person is involved with drug abuse and needs help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this help. If they do not have Medicaid and in addition don't have the funds or some other kind of health care insurance to pay for treatment, they can determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehab center that's approved in their state.
