Being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS may set off substance abuse, or dangerous sexual conduct due to drug abuse may have caused the person to contract the disease. People who have HIV/AIDS, either on account of their substance abuse or as a pre-existing problem before their drug use problem, often require rehab services tailor-made to satisfy their specific needs and challenges.
