Medicare is a form of medical health insurance created by the U.S. government for seniors, in addition to individuals with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only exception is, the person must obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they can also get to see their medical doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, as well as the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
