Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the government for older persons, along with those that have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The one catch is, the individual will have to acquire treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to visit their doctor who must state that rehab services are medically essential, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual must be in a hospital for their issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
